Sonic Boom Review

When I was looking around on the Guideline to see if anything was worth recording and 'Sonic Boom' appeared and I thought that I would set a recording for it along with the animes that I watch from Toonami, such as "One Piece, "Attack on Titan", "Hellsing Ultimate", and other animes that I like to watch.

Before I did my usual route on the DVR list, I've jumped onto "Sonic Boom" to see what the show was like. Considering of how I am a Sonic fan, I would get some enjoyment out of it. Though, I never grew up with SatAM and I've only seen some episodes of Sonic X, this show, like most animated shows these, it's done with CGI but definitely looked like the latest game that's coming out. The animation looked good and again, looked like the actual game. Needless to say, it's not too shabby to look at.

The character designs looked interesting but I couldn't help but find Knuckles to be off. Why? Usually, Knuckles is somewhat of a badass and last time that I've checked, he had this badass, 'fuck off' attitude like he did in Sonic X and some other games where he had that behavior. Wanting Sonic to be HIS sidekick? Okay, I'd guess that it was supposed to be a joke, which is fine, I couldn't help but Knuckles was acting a bit of an idiot and he's actually one of my favorite characters of the SEGA franchise. No offense, Knuckles, but that's how I was seeing it. Overall, the character new designs looked some what decent. 

Sticks is obviously without a doubt, a new character and in ways, she's like Marine because of the colors that she has and, I may not know about Marine besides the fact that she has a 'mouth disorder' and acts all paranoid, Sticks actually had the paranoid personality. For some reason, I actually find myself liking weird, yet silly female characters from certain shows, such as the 'Total Drama' franchise. Who knows? Maybe this might be a character that I could probably like? Well, I'm new to her but perhaps once that I see more of her, maybe I would find myself being, somewhat of a fan of her like some people around here and else where?

To wrap this up, is this show worth watching? If you are a fan of Sonic, you're in for luck. Though, the writing is somewhat silly, but it's better then TWO things in particular that would a dishonorable mention.

One: It's better then TEEN TITANS GO!!
Two: It doesn't have the Ken Penders to it.

(I've never read the comics, but I outta find myself being lucky for it. Good animation and artwork but bad story telling. Just because you think you're good at something, doesn't really mean that you are good at it.)
