Top 10 Most Unnecessary Cruelty Moments in TD

Description

Since he beginning, the Total Drama franchise went along just dandy but, I'm guessing when Season four came by, the show started to take on a unnecessary turn to be downright cruel. In ways, Fear Factor seems to be better.

1. Lies, cries, and fame

On the last episode of Season Six, Chris reveals the confessions of both Sky and Shawn to Dave and Jasmine and both of them were shocked of what the characters said in the confession booth (or outhouse). It's honest to god, that Chris just loves to watch people suffer for his own personal satisfaction and it's about the ratings. I know we live in a cruel world, that much I do know, but the cruelty is just fuck beyond belief. I hate it when people mimic, replay, or CONSTANTLY remind you of what you said or done. It's people like that makes you want to grab by the throat while you rip open their chest. Playing with people's emotions like that is fucked up.

2. Logic of Wile E. Coyote, don't fail me now.

Not having enough parachutes for everyone is messed up. The plane blows up and not everyone has a parachute. When the character try to open up the chute, they don't have a chute, instead, it's a bunch of random stuff. They're falling from thousand feet in the air and you didn't give them enough parachutes. In real life, when you fall from a thousand feet in the air, you'll die from a heart attack before you make contact to the ground. I know it's a cartoon, and in cartoons, you can survive a thousand feet drop, but in real life, you're nothing more a but mashed up mess. If you want a lawsuit for the deaths of every 'camper' on your hands, be my guest.

3. Hurl and Sneak

This episode was just nasty. Really, really, really, nasty. It's like 'Fear Factor' animated but more cruel. They had to drink rotten meat that's been expired since the 70's. A single sip of it could be enough to kill you. The characters looked like zombies and they looked like they were going to die. Food poisoning is very sickening. I had never had food poisoning but I heard it makes you wish that you were already dead. They did get their stomachs pumping again but making them to drink that nasty stuff, I would take the cannon anytime.

4. is that Zeke?

How come this guy never got the help that he needs BADLY? They never took off from the show so he can get the help. Instead, they kept him locked up in the cage like an wild animal. He's a human being, for Christ's sake and you're keeping him locked up in a cage like an animal? I don't know what goes on in the writers' minds but this just messed up. Probably more messed then Making Fiona Fox homeless in those god-awful Archie Sonic comics. Thank you very much, you son of a bitch. If someone no longer acts like a human,  we locked up them up in a cage and never send to an mental institution where they can get mental help.

5. B-gone

Revenge of the Island is probably my hated season of the franchise. It did introduce us to new characters that deserve a chance in the spot light but this had a MAJOR DOWN to it for me. Scott. That good for nothing, piece of pig shit. I hated Scott because he did nothing but set people up for elimination just so he can be the last one standing to win the million. I actually liked B because he was pretty smart. Silent characters are usually the smartest character. Scott just framed B and B got set him. If he wasn't a "Silent B", he would stand up for himself and tell his teammates that Scott framed him. Thankfully, in the end, Scott get what he deserved.

6. Game Over for Sam

If it's anything that Sam and I have in common, is that we like play video games. Just when you thought that you would get another chance at something, you get beaten up some more. Both Season four and five, Same just went through nothing but abuse in both seasons. The WORSE amount of abuse he went through was when he got back from the island during his exile, and he looked like death. His fellow team mates were nice enough to save him some food to feed him but Courtney didn't even bother to feed him. To add insult to injury, she even used him as a shield from a leech fired by Jo. Cut the poor guy a break already.

7. Dakotazoid

Like Zeke, Dakota never got the help that she needed to be normal again. She got exposed too much radiation and she went from being a hot-model wanna-bee to Dakotazoid. Sure, Same liked her as a mutant but this isn't X-Men. Before she got mutated, Chris made her do a lot of an embarrassing things to please him. Like his interns, they had to go through a lot of abuse. If I was ever a mutant, I would bite his Chris' head off and burn his carcass.

8. Farewell Princess

Ella, like another other character through out the previous season, went through abuse. She didn't suffer much abuse that were physical but she had to suffer emotional abuse both from Chris and Sugar (mostly Sugar). Though, singing wasn't allowed in season six, Ella couldn't help herself. She was even threaten to be booted if she sang a note. To make things worse, no one stood up for her. In reality shows, no one wants to be friends, they want to win, but before you even get to the final round, you should AT LEASE stand up for your comrade. Ella never had a single comrade to back up her. In real life, you have to stand up for yourself because no one isn't going to back up you up. Ella, just couldn't do it. Though, she did help her team, Sugar wrote a note to Chris that Ella sang and Ella was shot out of a cannon. Ella tried to be friends with someone and that person stabbed her in the back.

9. Abusive Sibling.

Having a sibling or a twin that doesn't appreciate you means trouble. Amy does nothing but mistreat her twin sister, Samey. Samey finally stand up for herself and sent her bitch sister home and pretending to Amy. Before that even happen, Amy did nothing but abuse her twin sister. I have no use for people that have nothing better to do beside fight each other nearly all the time. Its common to have siblings that fight each other but over time, they learn to stop fighting each other and get along but those no hope for these two. Sorry to say, but it's the truth.

10. Charred Sierra.

Sierra was pretty much my personal highlight of Total Dram World Tour. Not because of her crazy obsession with Cody (poor guy) but there were times when I found her silly. Though, she did made Cody feel uncomfortable............ a lot. But, When Cody was in trouble, she came to his aid despite that he probably doesn't 'like' her. She even remembered his birthday, which is sweet. However, she went overboard with the candles and there was oil on the ground and one spark made contact with the oil and..........BOOM!! She survived and she was charred. In real life, when you get blown up, you not only get charred but you die. She was automatically disqualified for blowing up the plane. Knowing Chris, he cared more about plane than Sierra's safety. Of course, never suspect that Chris would give a damn about your safety or health. Of course, she brought it onto herself because her obsession with Cody but honestly, blame the writers. It's not like anybody died in the franchise, but lets face it, in real life, everyone would die when Chris is in charge.

In My Opinion: These kind of cruelties in the Total Drama franchise can happen as a result of bad booking decisions made by the producers, directors and writers at Fresh TV.
